“snow flake”. Will need a new roof. No paperwork present. €1, reserve not met.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
. Restored. Where (unrestored) great condition 1982+ mk2 Polos are plentiful and cheap, the mk1 Polo is a rarity. This is a very late one.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
. Needs a bit of work due to fluid loss problems, but no rust issues and can be driven. €1800, no reserve.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
. One of the first, if not the first, mass market Wankel vehicle in the late 1960s. Restored, new engine.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
. €7250, reserve not met.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
. Manual transmission, seller claims he can’t drive manual anymore (medical reasons?) so the car hasn’t been driven since 2010. This might have caused problems although he’s not sure, the seller claims. €352, no reserve, 2 hours left!
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
. Only 9000 km! €1500, reserve not met (which is a lot already for a 340)

The Ro80 looks nice but new engine? I thought they couldn’t be found anymore. You can get parts but I think the main casing is no longer available.

That Mini is awfully tempting.
Sell the 205 yet?

Nope, still have the 205. I’ll probably ship it to ‘505’, together with a vehicle of his choice, who’ll then sell it for me. But this isn’t certain just yet.
Note the Dutch plates on that Mini :)

Well, I do own one myself I wish to sell soon. Still need to refit a few parts though, like the original BMW radio and the matching replacement drivers seat.

If I had the free cash, I’d be all over it... What approximate total cost are we talking for a car like this, including the price of the car, shipping to the U.S., taxes, fees, etc? When the shipping and other costs are equivalent to the cost of the vehicle, it probably doesn’t make the most sense - ha!

Including
my fixed up car
and including shipping but excluding taxes and US-bound fees (I have no idea about those) I’d guess about $5500 or so.

Really doesn’t sound that bad, especially to own a unique (in the States) classic like that. One day... Are 2002s starting to command the premium there that they do here?

Maybe I’m crazy, but 3500 Euros seems like a pretty nice price for this setup, no?
It’s not like I actually have 3500 Euros, but still...

It certainly is. I’m very tempted. Those VWs are
very
rust prone though.

Once again, you’re killing me with a DoKa. I’d love to have a CX too, I just love the way they look.

You really should not do this to a Citroen...

You saw them cruising around the roads plentifully not so long ago, which was when they were sold out of duty by the Bundeswehr. Guess a lot are trashed now because they were worth almost nothing for a longer period, as enthusiasts were chasing after the civilian models primarily.

The aftermarket chrome? Agreed. Have you seen the rear of the car? 4 exhausts. Ugh. It’s such a nice car, it’s a shame people molest them that way. Stock is best.
